Martin Kimsey

Martin is a lifelong resident of Madison County. He is employed by Georgia Power in the Energy Services field. He assists the residential and small commercial customers of Northeast Region in energy efficiency and billing issues. Prior to Georgia Power, Martin was the operator of a Chem Dry franchise. He is a 1984 graduate of Madison County and received his BS Education from the University of Georgia. He most recently graduated from the Academy for Economic Development. Martin is a member of the Madison County Rotary and has served as a mentor and has read with kids at Ila Elementary for the last 6 years. Martin is also a member of the Citizens of Georgia Power where he assists such organizations as Extra Special People, the Boys and Girls Club, the Food Bank of NE Ga, and the Botanical Gardens with projects of need. Martin and his wife have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
